About the Role: Intensive Youth and Family 180 – Mental Health Clinician
Â
The Intensive Outpatient Mental Health Program (180) provides comprehensive mental health and substance use treatment for high-risk youth and young adults, particularly those recently discharged from hospitals or experiencing serious mental illness. The program offers a structured range of services, including group, individual, and family therapy, psychiatric care, and case management.
Using a strength-based, trauma-informed approach, clinicians develop collaborative safety plans with clients, their families, and relevant community support. The program is also designed as a diversionary option to help prevent unnecessary inpatient hospitalization.
Â
Services include ongoing assessment, crisis intervention, and evidence-based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), neurofeedback, Acudetox, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Clinicians closely monitor treatment progress, coordinate care with internal and external providers, and maintain clinical documentation. Treatment planning and service delivery are conducted in partnership with a clinical supervisor, psychiatrist, and interdisciplinary team to ensure effective, individualized care.
