PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Possess the ability to ski from assigned stations to the base area. Level II skiing ability is preferred but not required.Â
- Ability to work in physically demanding, ever-changing outdoor environments for up to 8+ hours per day.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Outdoor: Regularly working in quickly changing winter weather conditions requiring the use of protective apparel/equipment to prevent exposure to the elements. May be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces.
- Fast-paced, high-demand environment during peak periods requiring alertness, quick decision-making, and efficiency to maintain safety.
- Exposure to mechanical components and electrical hazards; personal injuries from repetitive strain, falls, and from assisting guests are possible.
- Work physically near others throughout the shift.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to reach, crouch, stoop, kneel, stand, bend, walk or be on your feet for extended periods of time.Â
- May require moving items that weigh up to 50 lbs.
- Involves repetitive physical tasks, such as loading and unloading guests.Â
- This position may require visual abilities including close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus to safely perform essential job functions.
- Requires the ability to learn new tasks, remember processes, maintain focus, communicate effectively with coworkers and visitors, handle stressful situations and upset customers, and completing tasks independently and efficiently.
