Summary / Objective

The Cash Management Specialist provides customer support for the Bank’s cash management products for Business customers. This role is responsible for customer inquiries, product set up, and ongoing troubleshooting for ACH, wires, remote deposit capture, and positive pay. This individual assists in supporting the Business development Team for seamless onboarding of cash management services for new and existing customers.

Experience & Education Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of related banking experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent sales and service experience
  • Extensive knowledge of financial institution policies and procedures
  • Good interpersonal, communication & computer skills

Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible to provide comprehensive customer support with Cash Management services including ACH origination, remote deposit capture, wire transfers, positive pay, and online banking.
  • Responsible to provide comprehensive electronic banking support and training to customers
  • Trouble shoot customer problems and complaints, counsel customers with special needs or requests
  • Provide onboarding, troubleshooting, and training on Bank’s Cash management products
  • Coordinate remote check deposit program
  • Participate in trainings on cash management product updates and system changes
  • Provide comprehensive commercial services support to customers as well as branches
  • Complete required annual Compliance training.
  • Adhere to banking regulations and industry best practices.
  • Bank Secrecy Act responsibilities include adhering to the Customer Identification Program (CIP) Policy and reporting suspicious activity to the BSA Officer. 
  • Follow up on cash management service referrals provided by business development
  • Communicate effectively with clients, as well as internal and external business partners
  • Assist in loan closings with retail products & services

Qualifications

Required knowledge, skills & abilities:

  • Strong understanding of financial products and services and the ability to learn more
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and computer skills
  • Possess a professional demeanor including business attire, courtesy, and tact
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adapt to changings demands and requirements
  • Successful completion of in-house training programs or other approved training programs
  • Compliance with BSA regulations as appropriate to the position
