What You'll Do
As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for the design, configuration, maintenance, administration, and optimization of MMS networks and systems to deliver a strong and secure infrastructure. You'll focus on overall system security and risk remediation activities. You'll work with project teams to achieve highly available and high-performance applications and services with the goal of becoming a more efficient organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyzes, administers, supports, and maintains MMS networks, including virtual environment.
- Maintains network security and ensures compliance with policies and procedures.
- Evaluates and installs hardware, security devices, and software of network related equipment.
- Configures and maintains network architecture NAS/SAN devices and technologies.
- Participates in and may lead aspects of major network installations and upgrades.
- Collaborates with vendors to ensure appropriate resolution during network outages or periods of reduced performance.
- Develops and implements testing strategies, manages backups, and participates in disaster recovery planning activities.
- Evaluates and identifies the causes of network issues and provides prompt resolution.
- Installs systems and components ensuring integration with existing systems.
- Analyzes and reports network security breaches or attempted breaches.
- Monitors industry websites or publications for information about patches, releases, viruses, or potential problem identification.
- Administers email, encryption services, and anti-virus systems.
- Provides support and assistance as needed for other areas of the IT department.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
