Job Duties:

  • Welds a variety of fabricated parts, structural steel and related materials in accordance with established engineering and manufacturing specifications to produce commercial weldments within reasonable and/or expected time frames.
  • Accurately sets and maintains MIG welding machines to required heat and amperage.
  • Cuts, forms, deburs, punches, and shears a variety of metal materials.
  • Sets up and operates all required manually controlled fabrication machinery and hand operated tools.
  • Regularly lift/move up to 25 pounds; frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds.
  • Uses overhead crane and moving equipment from pallet jack through forklift.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Able to read tape measure and perform basic math  
  • Must be familiar with blueprints
  • Must be able to continuously produce a leak proof product
  • Able to use pallet jack, forklift, and overhead crane
  • Reliable transportation a must
  • High level attention to detail
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
  • Strict adherence to attendance policy required
