EDUCATIONAL AND OTHER SKILL REQUIREMENTSÂ
-Â Â Â High school and/or technical background with the ability to understand blueprints, and apply math to develop skills in problem solving techniques. Â Root cause analysis, decision making through the analysis of data is applicable.
-   Minimum of six years’ experience from on-the-job training programs and maintenance experience is required.  High degree of understanding in the injection molding process along with all of its support equipment i.e., AEC’s, loaders, ohmites, chillers, conveyors, etc, and the use of tools and devises used to repair and maintain equipment and facilities. Â
-Â Â Â Must have a high level of understanding and troubleshooting knowledge of closure manufacturing and support equipment, i.e., liners, assemblies, scorers, inspection cameras, palletizer, etc.
-Â Â Â Must have a strong knowledge of electrical and hydraulic principles. Â Capable of troubleshooting and the repair of all manufacturing machinery.
-   Must have a very strong knowledge of inventory control; print reading – mechanical, electrical and hydraulic.
-Â Â Â Must have a strong knowledge of mechanical principles, plus the knowledge to visualize arrangement and relationships between static or moving parts, and assemblies represented in blueprints and diagrams.
-Â Â Â Must have good communication skills to train others on maintenance processes, technology, and procedures.
-Â Â Â A strong working knowledge of test and measurement equipment, i.e., volt meters, amp meters, thermocouple calibration unit, micrometers, calipers, scales, levels, etc.
-Â Â Â Must be able to work in a team oriented environment in order to keep a good working relationship with others.
PHYSICAL DEMANDSÂ
1.   Ability to standing, bending, walking, twisting, squatting, kneeling, pushing, pulling, crawling, balancing, reaching overhead.Â
2.   Lifting and carrying 50 lbs required. Â
3.   Ability to push/pull 50 lbs.
4.   Ability to ascend/decent ladders and stairs.
5.   Ability to use and work near power tools, manufacturing equipment, utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
6.   Ability to stand for a sustained period of time throughout a 8 hour workday.
7.   Regular and reliable attendance and punctuality.
8.   Ability to engage in rotating shift work, i.e. nights to days.
9.   Eye-hand coordination, manual and finger dexterity
WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENTÂ
The manufacturing work environment includes exposure to: Operating machinery, constant noise, grease, dirt or oil. Constant exposure to moving parts and equipment requires high degree of caution and safety to avoid minor or serious injury. Temperature regulated work environment.
