Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the daily direction of the Shift Supervisor, the Maintenance Shift Technician is required to respond to all site equipment problems. This position will report to the Maintenance Supervisor. Â This position must troubleshoot and perform basic and advanced maintenance to production equipment, complete root cause investigations for complaints, interpret statistical data, and lead the repair efforts. The incumbent will be responsible for compiling and analyzing data to assist in determining appropriate countermeasures, as well as assist the team members in the development of standardized work. The incumbent will work within the stated principles of OPEX and help drive maintenance towards continuous improvement efforts through TPM.

12.   Compile necessary records or samples to determine causes of downtime, ie., machine repair logsÂ
13.   Operate hand tools and power tools as neededÂ
14.   Show competency in performing a variety of tasks requiring a thorough knowledge of Tools Assembly, Manufacturing Process and Inspection TechniquesÂ
15.   Maintain PM records and other pertinent informationÂ
16.   Perform preventative maintenance duties as scheduledÂ
17.   Maintain orderly and safe work area through use of 5SÂ
18.   Maintain min/max level of rebuilt parts inventoryÂ
19.   Verify conformance of parts to stock lift and blueprints using inspection equipment and recording data as neededÂ
20.   Assist in the establishment of control limits so that inefficient machines can be monitored and repairedÂ
21.   Work with Crib Attendant to investigate high parts usageÂ
22.   Maintain reports in both Excel and NFI to monitor downtime and its relationship to tool usageÂ
23.   Perform minor fabrication using sheet metal and polycarbonateÂ
24.   Perform minor functions that require using a Mig/Tig Welder and a Plasma cutterÂ
25.   Demonstrate awareness of and compliance with all pertinent safety policies and proceduresÂ
26.   Maintain a professional, clean and organized work environmentÂ
27.   Participate in work related training programs Â
