(1) Qualified by reason of education and/or experience. (2) Knowledge of steel fabricating, estimating, drafting, erection, and scheduling that enables him/her to successfully coordinate all elements of a project. (3) Working knowledge of construction law, product liability, and contract law. (4) Knowledge of the general building construction process. (5) Proven experience in negotiation skills and techniques. (6) Minimum of two (2) years experience in structural steel engineering, design or fabrication position. (7) Comprehensive knowledge of structural steel buildings and bridges. (8) Working knowledge of all applicable codes and specification. (9) Degree in applicable engineering, drafting or detailing field preferred. (10) Minimum two (2) years experience in estimating.
