(1) Qualified by reason of education and/or experience. (2) Knowledge of steel fabricating, estimating, drafting, erection, and scheduling that enables him/her to successfully coordinate all elements of a project. (3) Working knowledge of construction law, product liability, and contract law. (4) Knowledge of the general building construction process. (5) Proven experience in negotiation skills and techniques. (6) Minimum of two (2) years experience in structural steel engineering, design or fabrication position. (7) Comprehensive knowledge of structural steel buildings and bridges. (8) Working knowledge of all applicable codes and specification. (9) Degree in applicable engineering, drafting or detailing field preferred. (10) Minimum two (2) years experience in estimating.

Able to assess quality of own work as well as others and troubleshoot potential problems as necessary. Able to visualize finished project and incorporate improvements to enhance productivity. Able to work productively with all areas and personnel within the organization. Able to manage contractual obligations as well as unanticipated changes which may occur.
