Dental Specialty Associates is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Traveling Oral Surgery Dental Assistant to support our oral surgery team at both our Phoenix and Gilbert locations. Position Highlights:
- Assist oral surgeons with a variety of in-office surgical procedures (extractions, implants, IV sedation, etc.)
- Travel regularly between Phoenix and Gilbert offices as scheduled
- Prepare surgical setups, sterilize instruments, and manage surgical inventory
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
- Take digital X-rays, impressions, and maintain accurate documentation
- Ensure strict compliance with infection control and safety protocols
- Support patients with clear pre- and post-op instructions
Requirements:
- Arizona Dental Assistant Certification
- Oral surgery experience highly preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required; DAANCE or anesthesia certification a plus
- Ability to travel reliably between locations
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Calm, compassionate demeanor with strong attention to detail
