Position Purpose
Perform and manage others in the performance of tasks directly related to repairing and building project homes, while upholding the standard of partnerships, quality, safety, and team participation. Supervisor will manage projects spread throughout Avery County, North Carolina.

Essential Functions
- Communicate effectively with people of all levelsÂ
- Promote partnership among all participants within Habitat Charlotte, giving special attention to the needs and concerns of home owners, staff, volunteers, and donors.Â
- Develop and maintain good communication with building suppliers, subcontractors, trade professionals, Church leaders and other potential volunteers and donors.Â
- Communicate with subcontractors and inspectors to ensure that their tasks are completed thoroughly, efficiently, with minimal call-backs and according to the established standards of qualityÂ
- Perform all tasks with little supervision including, but not limited to framing, siding, wallboard installation, finish carpentryÂ
- Manage all aspects of the Repair and New Construction process from project start through the warranty process.Â
- Plan for each workday to ensure that all necessary resources, material and human, are available to complete the task listÂ
- Complete walkthrough reports as required in a timely mannerÂ
- Respond promptly to warranty workÂ
- Notify the appropriate team member, in a timely manner, when team resources are needed for specific jobsÂ
- Utilize Habitat's administrative tools for job management, e. g. the construction manual, safety guidelines, ordering forms, volunteer management, etc.Â
