Oklahoma City Indian Clinic (OKCIC) is a non profit corporation that provides culturally sensitive health care to the American Indian population. OKCIC services not only include basic medical care, but also dental, optometry, behavioral health services, fitness, nutrition and other family programs.

Oklahoma City Indian Clinic is looking for a passionate LPN eager to join our team and provide professional nursing care to adult patients. Ideal candidate will be energetic, highly motivated, flexible team player, and readily adapting to a quick paced environment. 

Some essential duties to include:

  • Assists medical staff in screening, assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care

  • Provides education to patients and families

  • Keeps exam rooms stocked with medical supplies

  • Maintains up to date diabetic education

  • Prepares and administers medication

  • Schedule management

  • Retrieves and responds to patient telephone messages and EHR notification

  • Operates and monitors general nursing equipment

Qualifications

  • Due to the safety sensitive nature of this position, medical marijuana license holders who test positive for marijuana will not be qualified for this position.

  • Must align with OKCIC vision, mission and core values

  • Must possess a current Oklahoma Nursing License in good standing with the OK State Board of Nursing

  • Current CPR is required
