Position Summary:
As the Vendor Compliance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our vendors and suppliers adhere to our company’s standards and regulations. You will be responsible for managing vendor compliance programs, establishing guidelines, and monitoring vendor performance to uphold our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: (Additional duties may be assigned)
- Develop and implement vendor compliance policies and procedures in collaboration with cross-functional teams including product development, planning, logistics, and quality assurance.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments of vendors to ensure compliance with contractual agreements, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop chargeback programs in partnership with the Product Development team to hold our vendors accountable for their performance.
- Evaluate vendor performance metrics and develop improvement plans as necessary to address areas of non-compliance or inefficiency.
- Serve as the main point of contact for vendors regarding compliance-related inquiries, issues, and escalations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to set standards, manage changing requirements, resolve vendor-related disputes and discrepancies promptly.
- Provide training and guidance to vendors on compliance requirements, quality standards, and best practices.
- Stay informed about industry regulations, market trends, and best practices related to vendor management and compliance.
- Partner with Fulfillment Operations to implement quality control audit programs to reduce damage rates and improve accuracy of outbound customer orders.
- Responsible for leading a team of quality assurance associates in Aurora and Fulton NY.
- Responsible for providing associate feedback through annual performance appraisals.
- Hold teams accountable for their performance against defined KPIs
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position oversees team members, providing guidance, monitoring work quality, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with leadership to enhance team success.
