Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Entry-Level Ammonia Refrigeration Service Technician to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in industrial refrigeration. You will receive on-the-job training and mentorship from experienced technicians while working on real-world systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the maintenance, repair, and installation of ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Support senior technicians in troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Learn and follow safety protocols, especially those related to ammonia handling.
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
• Travel to customer sites as needed (overnight travel will be required)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical school training in HVAC-R, industrial maintenance, or a related field is a plus.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments (climbing ladders, lifting, confined spaces).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to obtain RETA certification and other relevant credentials such as EPA certification.
