Healix Infusion Therapy is seeking an experienced Technology professional to join our corporate team as a Helpdesk Technician I!

 

In this role, The Helpdesk Technician I provides first-line technical support to end-users, ensuring reliable access to clinical and administrative systems across Healix. This position focuses on front-line troubleshooting, service request resolution, and escalation of complex technical issues as needed.

 

 

 

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receive and respond to incoming calls, e-mails, and tickets regarding hardware, software, and networking issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues at the desktop, laptop, mobile, peripheral device levels
  • Escalate complex or recurring issues to appropriate teams with proper diagnostics and documentation
  • Support workstation provisioning, imaging, and deployment processes
  • Assist users with account access, password resets, MFA, and Office 365 support
  • Support VPN, remote access, and basic networking connectivity
  • Log, track, and document incidents in the IT service management system to maintain accurate service records
  • Maintain and update IT asset inventory including PCs, laptops, peripherals, and mobile devices
  • Perform on-site and remote analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex desktop and network problems for end-users, and implement corrective solutions.
  • Assist in maintaining, and upholding procedures for logging, reporting, and statistically monitoring desktop operations.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as required
  • Comply with HIPAA and information security standards when handling protected health information (PHI)
  • Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned by the Director of IT or the Helpdesk Manager.

 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
  • 0-2 years of experience in a technical support or helpdesk environment
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems
  • Basic understanding of networking fundamentals, cloud environments, and remote access tools
  • Ability to manage multiple tickets and prioritize tasks effectively

 

 

 

CERTIFICATIONS

  • Comptia A+, Network+, or equivalent entry-level industry-related certification
