The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full-cycle recruitment activities to attract, screen, and onboard qualified candidates across the organization. This role partners closely with hiring managers and uses HRIS technology to manage candidate pipelines, post job openings, and facilitate a seamless onboarding experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, people-focused, and familiar with compensation frameworks, employment-based immigration processes, has a mindset of continuous process improvement, and stays up-to-date on best practices regarding talent acquisition and legal compliance.

Duties/ResponsibilitiesÂ

Manages full cycle of recruitment to maintain internal cycles and metrics such as days-to-fill, candidate experience, cycle times, etc.

Develops job descriptions and position-specific recruitment campaigns to meet the needs outlined by hiring managers and business leaders.Â

Organizes interviews for qualified candidates and advises managers on all recruitment and interviewing processes and policies.Â

Finalizes candidate background screens, reference checks and pre-employment testing.Â

Maintains up-to-date candidate profiles.Â

Develops, extends and negotiates employment offers that align the input of business leaders and hiring managers.Â

Supports hiring managers in the interviewing, orientation and onboarding of new employees.Â

Removes job postings for positions that have been filled.Â

Implements talent programs, such as internships and referral programs, to cultivate a robust talent pipeline.Â

Participates in recruitment events, including job fairs and open houses.Â

Ensures compliance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations, including Affirmative Action and diversity initiatives.Â

Educate employees about talent acquisition processes, the role of the manager in the talent acquisition experience

Address and resolve Talent Acquisition discrepancies and hiring manager inquiries in a timely manner

Continuously evaluate talent acquisition and training processes and identifies opportunities for automation in Paycom
Compensation, Immigration, and Learning & Development & Culture SupportÂ

Support compensation alignment by analyzing job descriptions, comparing market data, and confirming internal equity within established pay bands.Â

Collaborate with HR leadership to make salary recommendations and ensure offers align with budget and policy.Â

Assist in employment-based immigration processes by preparing job documentation for visa sponsorships (e.g., H-1B, R-1, Permanent Residency), coordinating with legal counsel, and tracking employee visa timelines.Â

Maintain compliance with Department of Labor and USCIS requirements related to recruitment and visa filings.Â
