This role will focus on contributing to the world class design and development of power distribution systems for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and associated components focusing on economy, safety, reliability, quality and sustainability.

Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical engineering design calculations as it pertains to photovoltaic systems and BESS power distribution.
- Design, develop, review, update, modify, and approve electrical designs, schematics, wire harnesses as per design specifications.
- Perform complex power analysis of low voltage and medium voltage AC and DC power distribution systems.
- Write system integration and testing procedures based on user defined functional requirements.
- Perform and support ongoing testing and updating of prototype electrical systems and subsystems.
- Provide product cost analysis for quoting new product.
- Support other engineers with design review and technical oversight.
- Initiate continuous improvement projects
