We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our retail team for the upcoming season. The Part-Time Seasonal Retail Associate will play a crucial role in managing our inventory, ensuring timely shipping of products, and supporting various store operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a dynamic retail environment.

 

What You’ll be Doing At AMC

  1. Stocking
    • Maintain store appearance through regular stocking, merchandising, and cleaning
  2. Warehouse
    • Unpack and check new merchandise against packing lists, manage packaging disposal.
    • Process and tag merchandise according to organizational guidelines
    • Maintain warehouse organization and monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs.
    • Voucher product returns from remote locations and receive back into the warehouse
  3. Online + Location Fulfillment
    • Coordinate shipments of customer’s orders in a timely manner, including picking, packing, and labeling of orders
    • Updating inventory and track shipments using Shopify and UPS accounts
    • Liaise with carriers, customer service, and recipients to ensure smooth delivery
    • Prepare shipping documentation
    • Coordinate with customer service and retail team to troubleshoot any shipping issues
    • Coordinate shipments to remote locations (including the Highland Center, Huts, Maine Lodges, and Southern locations) of inventory requests from the warehouse
  4. Guest + Staff Engagement:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional departments including lodging, storehouse, etc. 

 

Qualifications

What AMC is looking for

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • 1+ year of retail experience 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds 
  • Basic computer proficiency 
  • Flexible availability including weekends

Salary range: $13.39/hr

We are committed to fair compensation practices, and we encourage qualified candidates to apply. The initial salary represents our starting point, and our compensation philosophy is designed to reward and recognize the contributions of our employees as they grow within the organization. External candidates typically begin their journey with us at the starting point of the salary range. The final compensation offer will be based on factors such as experience, education, skills and geographic differential relevant to the position, and will be discussed during the interview process.
