Experience: Minimum five years of similar or related experience, previous experience as a Marketing Manager is preferred.
Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field

Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others. Other Skills: Strong understanding of marketing principles, including market research, consumer behavior, and digital marketing strategies. Experience with special events, including planning, scheduling, and implementing large, public events. Ability to propose and manage a large marketing budget. Proficiency in marketing tools and software, such as CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and analytics tools. Solid project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. Demonstrated management and leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities. A passion for marketing and staying abreast of industry trends.
Physical Requirements: This position is typical of a light-duty office position, but does also require the ability to lift, bend, and stoop, as well as move and carry heavy items in the course of preparing for and working special events. This position also requires the ability to ascend/descend stairs with items in hand as well as loading/unloading vehicles.
Work Environment: Normal light, heat, air, and space in work environment. Outdoor events and nontraditional office settings will be common. Can perform duties with frequent interruptions by other team members in an open work area. Must be able to be flexible in work schedule by working evenings and potentially weekends as well as traveling by car (up to 30% in the areas we serve) when necessary, to fulfill the essential functions of the position.
