Education and/or Experience:
- High school or equivalent, or a combination of education and experience, 6 months related experience or training highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills. Prior cashiering experience is a plus. Knowledge of electronic devices.
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability: Applying common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Equipment, Machines, and tools used: Cash register, pricing and tagging materials, box cutters, merchandise movement, and storage containers.
