Inside-Outside Sales Representative

Summary:  We are seeking a dedicated, results-driven Inside-Outside Sales Representative to join our growing team.  This full-time position is based in our New Castle office and operates Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm, with up to 20% travel as needed. 

As a key player in our sales department, you will be responsible for soliciting orders, responding to customer inquiries, generating and nurturing leads, and driving revenue growth.  You will leverage phone, email, and online channels to engage potential customers, present product solutions, negotiate deals, and build lasting business relationships—all while maintaining accurate records of sales activities. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify potential customers through strategic outreach 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with leads and existing customers
  • Effectively present and promote our products and their benefits 
  • Prepare competitive price and delivery quotations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Submit bids and follow up on customer approvals to secure new business
  • Enter and manage customer data and sales records in the company database
  • Develop and sustain relationships with purchasing contacts to foster repeat business
  • Provide timely production updates, ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Address and resolve customer concerns, ensuring a smooth sales experience  
  • Investigate and troubleshoot delivery issues to maintain high service standards
  • Stay informed about industry trends, product updates, and competitor offerings
  • Engage in continuous follow-up to identify new business opportunities
  • Handle additional responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities
  • Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service and build trust
  • Analytical mindset to assess sales data and identify trends
  • Problem-solving skills to address and resolve customer concerns effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), database management, and internet research
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations related to pricing and data analysis
  • Strong reasoning skills to interpret instructions and manage dynamic sales situations

Education and Experience:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent in business, sales, or a related field
  • Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience in sales or customer service
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered

Additional Information:

  • Must be able to pass a urine drug screening and physical upon offer of employment. 
  • Salary:  $50,000 to $80,000 based upon experience
  • Comprehensive benefits package available after 60 days including: Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. 
  • Plus, 9 paid holidays per year.
