The Level II Digital Radiographer is responsible for, but not limited to, the following job descriptions:Â
- Perform Level II DR profile inspections and other NDE inspections as specified with the Company’s procedures.
- Operate and maintain Digital Radiography equipment, software, and hardware as per company requirements and manufacturer’s recommendations.
- Calculate, establish, and control the radiation area.Â
- Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results.Â
- Evaluate and interpret product results to the code of construction or customer specifications.Â
- Organize and report test results.Â
- Responsible for producing quality radiographs.Â
- Able to meet travel expectations.Â
- Capable of managing long term projects.Â
- Communicating with customer/client representatives on daily basis.Â
- Responsible for returning a completed product in accordance with applicable regulations and procedures.Â
- Required to establish and manage all safety procedures and functions throughout a project.Â
- Able to train assistants efficiently in accordance with applicable codes, regulations, procedures and NVI, LLC’s SNT-TC-1A written practice.Â
- Effective at meeting deadlines set forth by management or clientele. Â
- Maintain and promote a positive attitude while on projects.
- Any other assignment necessary to meet Level II responsibilities set forth by the Company.Â
