What Is a Must Have
- Minimum 7-10 years’ experience,
- Master’s or Ph.D in Electrical Engineering or Computer science, or equivalent;
- Sound understanding of DOCSIS MAC and PHY Layer protocols and the various interactions within a DOCSIS infrastructure.
- Solid understanding of MSO HFC deployment architectures (D3.0/D3.1/D4.0), including CMTS/CM/CCAP-Core/Remote PHY, OFDM/ OFDMA, digital signal processing, communication technologies .
- Strong expertise in IP network operations, TCP/IP protocols
- Software programming and scripting ability is a definite plus
- Familiarity with network telemetry data and its use within the cable network
- Ability to work across multiple teams focused on different aspects of DOCSIS technology development, testing, prototype development, certificatio
- Ability to deploy and run software tools to control and optimize the network, software programming or scripting

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to synthesize complex technical information into actionable insights
- Experience with lab test equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators), network troubleshooting, CMTS/RPD platforms, and virtualization a plus.
- Proficiency in scripting/programming languages and tools for automation, data analysis, and lab orchestration.
- Strong writing, documentation, and presentation skills, with experience in research publication or industry standards contribution preferred
- Understanding of Information and data modeling, for network management purposes.
- Understanding and experience in Access layer technologies (DOCSIS/PON/Wireless)
- Participation in standards activities (e.g. IEEE/IETF/3GPP)

Compensation: The salary range is $135,200 - $165,360. This position is eligible for bonus incentive compensation up to 20% of base salary.
