POSITION OVERVIEW

We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Delivery Associate to join our fast-growing Comfortrol Team. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, work well in a team environment, have a high level of customer service, and have strong attention to detail.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare equipment and materials for transport to job sites utilizing company vehicle with trailer and staging for technicians
• Shipping and receive parts, equipment, and supplies for scheduled jobs
• Load and unload products in truck utilizing forklift and/or hand truck
• File bills of lading, equipment packing slips, etc. for inventory reconciliation and audit purposes
• Inspect and sign out parts and equipment to technicians, ensuring that technicians maintain appropriate equipment to properly perform required tasks.
• File freight claims for damaged goods
• Identify excess and obsolete inventory and maintain system inventory accuracy
• Verify all items received match items ordered for accuracy
• Stock service vehicles, as instructed, to ensure that required parts remain on-hand
• Assist management with inventory counts
• Maintain warehouse and forklift by following required maintenance, housekeeping, and safety procedures
• Keep warehouse area and parking lot area clean and orderly/neat.

ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENT

This position reports to the local Branch Manager and is responsible for engaging with the warehouse team and all of our customers.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
• Must have experience driving a vehicle while pulling trailer
• Minimum 6 months warehouse experience including forklift operation preferred
• Must be able to multi-task and work within daily deadlines
• Must communicate effectively with customers and provide superior service
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
