Job Responsibilities:

Complete assignments given by the led of the shop
-
Complete low-level diagnosis of issues with vehicles
-
Repair cooling systems and fuel tanks
-
Repair defective chassis such as shock absorbers, ball joint suspension, brake shoes, and wheel bearings

Minimize repair costs and effectively communicates repair costs to Service Advisor/Service Manager

Assist and provide support with special assignments as directed by Service Advisor/Service Manager

Repair each vehicle within set schedule

Physical Expectations:
-
Walking and standing for extended periods.
-
Regularly bending, stretching, kneeling, squatting or stooping to inspect vehicles from various angles, particularly underneath or inside. Crouching might be needed to inspect tires, undercarriages, or hard-to-reach areas.

Manual Dexterity to manipulate small parts, use tools, and perform precise tasks with hands.

Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds via team lifting.

Occasionally climbing ladders or platforms to access vehicle components at different heights.

Visual Acuity to be able to inspect vehicles.

Clear communication with team members, vendors, and possibly customers.
