What started as a family business in a small, two-story building at 219 S. Ochoa in 1958 now includes multiple sites, a distribution center, and a customer service center, with goals of further expansion in the near future. What we are looking for
Highly motived individual who provides support to the accounts payable department and performs accounts payable functions.
Duties And Responsibilities:
- Process all vendor invoices for payment in a timely manner.
- Reviews monthly vendor statements to keep accounts current.
- Reconciles vendor statements against AP system aging reports.
- Works with internal departments to resolve issues.
- Works with vendors and internal departments to resolve discrepancies between vendor billing and purchase orders.
- Ensures all accruals are resolved within 30-45 days.
- Prepare and process electronic transfer and payments.
- Follows matching guidelines and internal protocol for returning calls and resolving issues with departments.
- Maintains accounts payable files and records.
- Responds to vendor and team member inquiries regarding invoices, expenses, and check requests; assists with discrepancy reconciliation.
- Assists with related special projects as needed.
- Protects the organization's value by keeping information confidential.Â
- Â Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Associate’s degree or coursework in accounting.
- 0-2 years of experience in Accounts Payable, money handling, and/or bookkeeping preferred.
- Bilingual skills are a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Particularly Excel.
- Experience with accounting software is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
- Occasionally required to work overtime on Saturdays or during the week.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow to meet all deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.

Position is for our Headquarter Offices located at 1000 E. Overland Ave. El Paso, TX 79901.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday
8:00AM - 5:00PM
