About This Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Event Manager to join our dynamic team. As an Event Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the event planning, execution, and foster employee engagement and development to ensure successful outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading organization and contribute to the success of high-profile events. Energy, enthusiasm, the ability to execute, value-alignment, performing all duties with an eye to risk management, and customer focus are key to achieving success in this role.

Responsibilities May Include:
- Oversee event operations on-site, ensuring smooth execution, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining a high level of customer service
- Provide on-site leadership to all event day staff, ensuring both recognition and praise, and developmental feedback
- Interact with clients to assure expectations are being exceeded and taking immediate action to remedy any issues
- Perform the duties of a direct supervisor for Banquet Supervisors including management of behaviors, development, and alignment with organizational goals and objectives
- Monitor and evaluate event performance through post-event analysis and feedback, making recommendations for improvement
- Manage all third-party, on-site vendors assuring adherence to venue guidelines and completion of all required documents
- Partner with leaders throughout the organization to drive operational efficiency and exceptional customer experiences

Â
Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership and/or management role required
- 1 year of management experience from a distance or remotely preferred
- Proficient (intermediate to advanced) computer skills including Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook and Excel as well as CRM and collaboration tools

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to stand or walk for eight (8) hours or more in a fast-paced environment requiring movement
- Bi-lingual (Spanish and English) language skills a plus
- Ability to lift/carry up to 35 lbs.
- California Food Handler’s Card and RBS Certification required
