The Digital Marketing & Fundraising Manager contributes to the calling of Medical Teams International by supporting the organization’s strategic growth initiatives and fundraising objectives. This role will execute cross-channel fundraising campaigns, while creating and integrating digital marketing strategies into campaign-based fundraising with a particular focus on mass and mid-level donors. The Digital Marketing & Fundraising Manager provides strategic oversight of fundraising events and new partnerships that contribute to overall fundraising. Â

Team and Growth ManagementÂ

Recommend to Medical Teams leadership and provide financial justification for the Fundraising and Digital Marketing team’s annual budget; and manage team financials.Â

Manage the Fundraising and Digital Marketing team members responsible for revenue generation, primarily from a mass, monthly, and mid-level donor portfolio.Â

Participate in planning disaster response fundraising campaigns and lead the team to execute the campaign plan across all channels.Â

Leverage data and donor insights to generate ideas for testing while keeping a pulse on industry trends to ensure utilization of best practice and effective fundraising tactics.Â

Track, analyze, and communicate program performance vs. expectations. Provide the Director, Marketing and Communications insight and recommend action plans to address variances in performance against plans.Â

Drive growth of the mass, monthly, and mid-level donor portfolios through ROI-driven decisions and investments.Â
FundraisingÂ

Build and manage integrated, campaign-focused marketing strategy to drive mass, monthly, and mid-level fundraising across all channels, including but not limited to, direct mail, events, social media, website, email, search engine optimization, and other paid strategies, working alongside other members of the Marketing & Communications team or external agency partners, as needed. Â

Develop and lead the implementation of acquisition strategies and campaigns for mass, monthly, and mid-level donors.Â

Develop and lead the implementation of retention and upgrade strategies and campaigns for mass, monthly, and mid-level donors.Â
Digital MarketingÂ

Manage the Fundraising and Digital Marketing team to build brand awareness within the digital space and drive website traffic, acquiring leads and new donors Â

Develop, optimize, and execute marketing campaigns and initiatives both in-house and alongside external agencies.Â

Identify and evaluate new digital technologies and use web analytics tools to measure and evaluate effectiveness of existing website, email marketing, social media platforms, and digital advertising, and develop and lead improvement plans. \

Develop and lead digital media strategies that put the brand in front of desired target audiences, analyze and synthesize web analytics to unearth insights and understanding about prospective target consumers.Â
EngagementÂ

In collaboration with Marketing & Development leadership, research conference, church, and other speaking opportunities in growth markets. Research, secure and manage partnerships with organizations, podcasts and conferences that provide Medical Teams with a platform to raise awareness and funds with new audiences, including negotiating partnerships with sponsorship, keynote, and call-to-action opportunities. Â

Develop and execute fundraising campaigns that engage donors at scale, such as peer-to-peer campaigns, crowd funding campaigns, etc. Lead cross functional teams to support the creation of necessary collateral and manage the dissemination of information to all internal stakeholders. Track execution, monitor success and iterate. Â

Build and manage program budgets for all donor events and peer-to-peer campaigns including, but not limited to, the Healthy Women, Healthy World movement, fundraising events, engagement events, strategic partnerships, and other events when applicable. Â

Provide strategic oversight for fundraising events by participating in the planning process in coordination with Engagement Specialist, providing budget oversight and guidance, and ensuring events hit fundraising goals, achieve a high ROI, and properly demonstrate Medical Teams’ work.Â
Other Duties:Â
- Ensure the Safeguarding of program participants and employees through promoting an environment of awareness and upholding the code of conduct provisions of Medical Teams Protection from Sexual Exploitation & Abuse, Child & Vulnerable Adult protection, and harassment-free workplace policies. Incumbents will remain alert and responsive to any child and adult safeguarding risks, acquire relevant knowledge and skills which will enable you to promote strong safeguarding practices, understand the child and adult safeguarding policy and procedures, and conduct yourself in a manner consistent with the Safeguarding code of conduct and behavior expectations.Â
