Description

Crazy Aaron's is looking for a Payroll/HR Administrator to join the team and make a difference. This is a full time, administrative professional position located on-site in Norristown PA. Bilingual Spanish applicants preferred.

This role is responsible for the employee lifecycle and manages the daily administrative functions of payroll in Paycom, assisting with talent acquisition, onboarding, benefits administration, and other HR initiatives.


JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure biweekly payrolls are processed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ensure data integrity associated with timecards and vacation/sick time accruals
  • Coordinate and process third party payroll requests (garnishments, income verification requests, child support, etc.)
  • Upload accurate contributions to 401k and HSA providers
  • Verify accuracy and complete payments of payroll taxes, benefits, and miscellaneous deductions
  • Interface with Paycom specialists for any system issues, as well as their tax team to ensure IRS compliance
  • Coordinate benefits onboarding administration with director (health insurance, 401k, HSA, etc.)
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding compensation packages and policies (benefit deductions, 401k deferrals, HSA deferrals, vacation/sick time utilization)
  • Facilitate recruitment by posting open positions, managing talent acquisition, and screening resumes and applications for candidates
  • Conduct and schedule phone/in-person interviews
  • Responsible for the employee lifecycle from onboarding to termination
  • Complete I-9 forms and initiate E-Verify cases in Paycom
  • Liaise with temporary staffing agencies and oversee proper billing according to weekly timecards for associates
  • Maintain detailed and organized files with employee data, policies, and procedures
  • Communicate with Finance regarding proper and accurate distribution of company funds
  • Regularly perform system audits and pull reports to ensure compliance and verify data
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding employee information
  • Perform quarter-end and year-end compliance duties such as state tax regulations and W2 verification
  • Assist HR department with annual projects including benefits enrollment, audits, performance reviews, and Labor Law posting updates
  • Support other departmental duties as assigned

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 1-3 years Payroll/HR administrative relative experience required
  • Must possess strong time management and organizational skills
  • Strong and accurate attention to detail
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred
  • Flexible and adaptable with an ability to perform in a rapidly changing, dynamic and growing work environment
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Must be client focused and take initiative to resolve problems
  • Display excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external teams
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
