Strategic Retail Partners (SRP) is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales Director to spearhead our growth in the Independent Convenience Store channel. This role will be responsible for driving new business acquisition, expanding relationships with existing accounts, and leading a high-performing sales team. Based in Brunswick, GA, this role will require significant travel across the Southeast (and beyond) to cultivate relationships and support team execution on the ground.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Drive aggressive growth in new customer accounts across both existing and untapped geographies.
- Develop and execute in-person sales strategies through direct engagement with independent convenience store owners and operators.
- Build prospect pipelines and convert leads into long-term partners.
- Leverage market intelligence and store-level insights to identify areas of opportunity and competitive advantage
- Deepen relationships with current accounts by introducing new programs, promotions, and product offerings.
- Manage, grow, and retain existing accounts and drive annual account growth objectives.
- Analyze store-level performance to uncover upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Partner with internal stakeholders (Category Management, Marketing, and Operations) to tailor solutions to customer needs.
- Manage, mentor and lead a team of Field Sales Managers and Territory Sales Managers across multiple states.
- Set clear KPIs and drive accountability for sales performance, territory coverage, and customer service excellence.
- Conduct regular field visits, ride-alongs, and team meetings to support development and alignment
