Old Edwards Hospitality Group has multiple restaurants in Highlands, North Carolina. From Fine Dining to Casual to Special Event Kitchens, our culinary and front of house teams rely on the Utility role to make sure everything they need is clean and ready for service. This is also a great entry role into the culinary profession.
The Utility role works as part of the kitchen team to keep all dishes, glassware, silverware and kitchen equipment cleaned throughout the course of operation hours of the restaurant. They are responsible for keeping their areas, communal walkways, floors and common areas clean. Â
 Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean, orderly, safe and efficient dish area
- Provide kitchen and waitstaff with the serving items and cookware they require to serve guests in a consistent, reliable fashion
- Aid in removing trash, putting away deliveries and completing opening and closing lists, as time allows
- Ensure all chemicals and required equipment are in stock and in working order
- Help with some general kitchen prep when able
- Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned at the discretion of the Chef
