Summary
Responsible for assisting both internal customers and external customers (guests) providing assistance throughout the company’s computer networking systems.
Responsibilities
- Actively contribute to the organization via support of our point-of-sale systems, telephony systems, DirecTV systems, guest hardware such as Blu-Ray players and room TV’s, supporting Banquet Events by staging A/V equipment including P/A systems, wireless microphones, and conference room setups with projectors, corporate laptops, etc.
- Support OEHG specific software applications including Springer Miller Systems, Navis, Assa Abloy/VingCard software and CRM software.
- Support Microsoft Office applications, specifically, Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Support Guest wireless network by troubleshooting Access Point issues, network connectivity issues, etc.
- Document work in SysAid ITSM Service Desk software, including details of service request (time spent on each ticket, details relating to issue, closing tickets in a timely manner, etc.)
- Troubleshoot application related issues, such as networking and connectivity problems along with performance issues. Identify problem areas.
- Handle Service Desk issues and assist other team members with technical support issues.
- Keep IT Director and IT team members properly informed of ongoing status, issues and requirements.
- Help maintain proper safety conditions by complying with safety standards, inspecting equipment and notifying the IT Director of needed repairs or any other safety issue.
- Report safety violations, near-misses and accidents according to the rule of the OEHG safety policies.
