The Pharmacist serves as a licensed professional responsible for the safe, effective, and compliant use of medications within both the hospital and surgery center settings. This position functions part-time as the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) for a satellite pharmacy located within the surgery center, overseeing daily operations, regulatory compliance, and medication management. Additional hours will be spent at the main hospital pharmacy, supporting the provision of inpatient pharmaceutical services and may include weekend rotations.
The Pharmacist ensures adherence to all federal and state pharmacy laws, Board of Pharmacy regulations, DEA requirements, and West Tennessee Healthcare policies while promoting patient safety and quality care.
