General Role Description
Leads, directs, and manages the organization’s fleet and delivery functions at the division level to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of Company products to various customer locations.  
 
Duties & Responsibilities
	- Build, lead, and develop a committed team of employees for the delivery function through recruiting, coaching, training, assisting with problem resolution and leading by example.
- Ensure the achievement of delivery business goals for expenses, staffing budget and headcount. 
- Ensure proper staffing through scheduling for multi-stop delivery routes while complying with DOT regulations to include driver hours of service and training requirements.
- Periodically audit delivery routes and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements without sacrificing safety and customer service.
- Maintain schedules of preventative maintenance and repairs of fleet to ensure operational efficiency.
- Communicate and coordinate with Warehouse Managers to recommend and implement ideals for improvement to optimize efficiencies.
- Responsible for the learning and development initiatives for the division’s delivery organization, including training and onboarding for new hires and recently licensed. Establishes learning and development goals essential to departmental success and individual employees’ professional and career development.
