The Expertise We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in social work or related social services field
- One (1) year experience in child welfare/residential and/or adolescents in a social service setting
- Two (2) years of supervisory experience
- Able to obtain the LCCA license within 15 months of employment
- Bilingual in Spanish in English.
- Valid Texas driver’s license

- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to work well within a team approach.
- Ability to develop successful working relationships with a variety of people, i.e., staff, senior management, clients.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including command of English language.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access)
- Experience in managing service-related information for tracking and reporting purposes, e.g., measurable outcomes data.
- Experience in public speaking, presentations, and trainings.
- Pleasant disposition and professional demeanor.
- Ability to appropriately handle and maintain confidential information.
- Ability to prioritize work responsibilities, handle multiple tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of professional boundaries with children in care, staff and volunteers.
