Outside Sales Representative - Industrial Material Handling Equipment Product Support

Lift Truck Center, Inc., the authorized dealer for Toyota, a leading brand of lift trucks, is searching for a Product Support Outside Sales Representative for the Wichita and surrounding area.  Prior experience in a related field, mechanical knowledge of industrial equipment, outside sale experience and computer skills are essential.  Responsive sense of urgency, strong communication skills, positive attitude and support of our company core values are required. 

Summary: Manage and develop professional relationships with existing and prospective industrial customers within your assigned accounts.  Our diverse customer base comprised largely of warehousing and manufacturing relies heavily on the lift trucks that move materials within their operation.  As a service provider, it is our responsibility to consultatively understand the needs of our customers and help them tailor the levels and frequency of service that results in the lowest cost of operation and maximum equipment utilization. 

Essential Functions: Manage customer satisfaction and identify new opportunities for providing parts, service and tires for lift trucks and industrial equipment.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Qualified applicants must be able to pass a drug, and criminal background check, take a Predictive Index assessment, and have a clean driving record.  
• Ability to diplomatically handle issues and resolve problems through the collaboration with all company departments (utilizing a team approach and presenting a unified front to our customers).
• Excellent  relationship-building  skills,  including  empathy,  listening,  verbal (asking appropriate questions to understand needs/concerns), written and presentation communication skills.
• Ensure that personal conduct and professionalism reflects favorably upon Lift Truck Center at all times. Abiding by company policy, Honest and Ethical business practices are required.
• Capable of multi-tasking and managing details.
•  Input information in CRM software and ability to learn facets of our business operating system.
