Employment Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma and graduation from accredited Medical Assistant Program (MA). Must have 1-year experience in clinical setting; prefer Certified MA (expectation - certification within 1 year of hire date) and CPR Certification. Computer and office technologies required.
Experience:
- One year experience in clinic/office setting
- Knowledge of mental health services preferred.
- Lived experience with behavioral health issues preferred.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to work cooperatively with staff, community agencies, and the general public.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Accurate data entry, typing and filing.
- Ability to write and speak effectively.
- Possession of a valid Michigan’s driver’s license.
