BACKGROUND
Denver Children’s Home provides a comprehensive therapeutic and educational continuum of care for our region’s abused, neglected and traumatized children and their families with mental health issues. We offer prevention, intervention, and treatment programs grounded in trauma-informed care and the latest in brain-development research.
SUMMARY
The primary function of the Therapist is to provide family, individual, and/or group psychotherapy from a trauma-informed care model to children and their families in the Day Treatment or Residential Programs.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

Provide individual, family and/or group therapy, using a trauma informed model of care, to clients assigned to him/her.

Will develop and implement appropriate treatment plans.

Set effective limits which are consistent with treatment plans and DCH’s philosophy.

Provide good continuity of care for clients and their families

Document elements of client care.

Develop, maintain and terminate therapeutic relationships with clients as is appropriate to their success during their time at DCH and after they leave.

Provide home-based visits, as required.

Provide consistent and effective supervision of all children
Compensation:
Salary: $50,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
