Responsibilities
Weekly Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight and leadership to all of our Middle School Life Groups (8-10 hours)
- Assign speakers, or personally participate in master teaching each week
- General administrative tasks (games, devotions, room set up)
- Regularly evaluate effectiveness of programming and leaders
- Oversee middle school gospel and baptism class every month
- Identify key leaders and students that can be developed into disciple making disciples (2-3 hours)
- Partner with student director to creatively plan/execute our Sunday night programming (3-4 hours)
- Attend weekly Apex student/campus staff meetings (2-3 hours)
- Central student staff/All Staff - optional
Churchwide Events
The hours for this position are expected to be 20 hours per week. As one church that meets in many locations, there are several times throughout the year that Summit holds church-wide events in an effort to do whatever it takes to reach all people. All staff members are expected to serve at these church-wide events regardless of the positions they hold.
Such events include, but are not limited to: Easter services, church-wide prayer meetings, Good Friday service, and Christmas services. Serving expectations will be communicated in advance of each event.
