Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or in-lieu of degree equivalent education, training, and work-related experience.
- 3+ years as a Business Analyst with a proven ability to dig into complex issues and deliver results.
- 3+ years in the Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance industry, with experience in FL Residential Commercial lines.
- Strong understanding of Property & Casualty insurance products, underwriting, claims, and policy lifecycle.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and apply logic to solve business problems with minimal supervision and a willingness to dig into the details of specific projects to ensure the appropriate approach and best use of company resources.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and assignments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with P&C insurance systems like Guidewire, Duck Creek, or similar platforms
- Proficient in business analysis techniques, process modeling, and data analysis.
- Experience with tools like SQL, Excel, Visio, Jira, or other project management tools.
- Experience with comparative raters and understanding of XML/SOAP.
- Business Analyst certification (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is a plus
