Statement of Purpose
NSITE provides a suite of recruitment, staffing, training, and accessibility services to employers, in service of NSITE’s mission to place workers who are blind or visually impaired in meaningful careers. This position is responsible for leading NSITE’s services to employers including responsibility for growing a pipeline of job and internship opportunities for NSITE’ jobseekers. They will work closely with NSITE talent acquisition colleagues to help match job seekers to employment opportunities. This position will also be the key liasion to NSITE’s network of corporate and NIB associated agency employers to drive and grow NSITE’s job placement and recruitment services for those employers.
The person in this role will be an innovative thinker and above-average communicator who is both mission-driven and business-oriented. They will help achieve long-term organizational strategic goals, identify opportunities, drive financial growth, negotiate and close business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of employment trends and hiring needs in the federal, state, and private sector arenas.

Education
A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may also be acceptable.
Training and Specialized Knowledge
Knowledge of workforce trends and recruiting practices

Experience:
- Minimum of six (6) years of business development experience within Government, Non-Profit, and Private Sectors with eight (8) plus years of overall business experience.
- Workforce development experience and/or talent recruitment
- Client and partner relationship mangement
- Experience driving business process improvements in a key performance indiator (KPI)-driven environment.
- Experience with government partnership development, RFP responses, and funding authorization processes.
- Experience in and demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple tasks; meeting deadlines, initiative and follow through.
- PC proficiency in MS Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Experience using Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and/or other online meeting platforms.
- Experience using a Customer Mangaement System (Salesforce desired).

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform market research to identify new opportunities/markets, customer needs and current pain points, and develop strategies for pursuing those new opportunities.
- Develop and execute an outreach strategy to bring new employment opportunities for blind and visually impaired workers, develop proposals and conduct pitch presentations and meetings to turn potential employer customers into clients, and continue to grow future opportunities.
- Manage existing employer clients ensure high standards for customer service.
- Outreach to Vocational Rehabilition State Agencies to schedule informational events about NSITE programs as needed, including supporting business development for NSITE’s suite of learning & leadership training through state agency RFP responses, authorized vendor contracts, and contract renewals.
- Develop an outreach strategy which may include being required to make presentations on solutions and services that meet or predict employer clients’ future needs.
- Work with the internal team and marketing and communications staff to increase sales opportunities and maximize revenue.
- Relationship build and ensure NSITE is seen as a trusted partner to all clients.
- Play a key role in ensuring NSITE remains on track to hit revenue targets.
- Works with team to establish project goals, milestones and priorities.
- Provide feedback, support, and written reports as required.
- Maintains all contacts and communication statuses in the Customer Management Systerm (CMS) to maintain all contact and account profiles, work history, and project opportunities.
- Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events.
