Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Nurse to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting health data, performing focused nursing assessments, assisting in care planning and evaluation, administering medications and treatments safely, and promoting a safe and healing environment. The role requires strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and a commitment to evidence-based nursing practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Assessment & Care Planning

Collect relevant data and perform focused nursing assessments of individuals’ health status.

Participate in planning and revising individualized nursing care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members.

Contribute to the development and modification of care plans based on ongoing assessments and responses to interventions.

Assist in the evaluation of patient responses to nursing interventions and identify continuing care needs.
Health Education & Counseling
Medication & Treatment Administration

Safely administer medications and treatments while understanding their rationale and potential effects.

Accurately document the administration of medications and treatments in accordance with policies and procedures.

Monitor and document patient responses to both prescription and nonprescription medications, treatments, and procedures.

Report any adverse reactions or untoward effects promptly and clearly to appropriate health professionals.
Communication & Documentation

Effectively communicate patient status, treatment responses, and any changes in condition to healthcare team members in a timely and accurate manner.

Maintain thorough, clear, and confidential documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
Safety & Compliance

Clarify any orders or treatment regimens that appear to be inaccurate, contraindicated, or non-efficacious in collaboration with the prescribing practitioner.

Implement safety measures to ensure a secure and hazard-free environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Follow protocols for safe disposal of medical waste and other hazardous materials.

Obtain instruction or supervision when implementing unfamiliar procedures to ensure patient safety and compliance with standards of care.
Qualifications:

Active and unencumbered RN or LPN license in the state of practice.

Graduation from an accredited nursing program.

Current CPR/BLS certification (Advanced certifications preferred depending on specialty).

Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and standards.

Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
