Provided to Participants: $10.00/hr. Student Wage, Full-time Benefits, Tuition, Books, Uniforms, two sittings for National Registry Exam within two months of successfully completing the EMS Academy, Licensing Fees
Expected from Participants: Full engagement with attendance to all classes, labs, and clinical rotations; prompt testing for License upon course completion; commitment to work for Baptist Ambulance in full-time position for at least 2 years following licensure in the tri-state area.
Classroom: Southwest TN Community College
Format: Live Instructor led Classes/Labs; Clinical rotations on Baptist Ambulances
Schedule: Total class length is 16 weeks
- The class will be 0900-1730 hours, two days a week, class days are to be determined. You will also be working two 12-hour Ambulance Operator shifts (40 hours per week)
- 84 total clinical hours on Baptist Ambulances
- Beginning Date: August 25, 2025
- Ending Date: December 12, 2025
