Description

The Benson Production Tech is responsible for overseeing all aspects of audio, video, and lighting (AVL) production for local campus weekend services, special events, and midweek gatherings in alignment with Pantano standards.

  • Oversee audio, video, and lighting (AVL) production for services and events, ensuring high-quality execution.
  • Operate and train volunteers on AVL systems, including audio mixing, lighting, and video.
  • Recruit, develop, and schedule Difference Makers (volunteers) for production roles.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot campus AVL equipment, coordinating repairs and upgrades with Central Production Team as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Campus Pastor, Campus Worship Leader, and Central Production Team to execute services effectively utilizing the proper tools.
  • Ensure consistency with production standards set by Central Production Team, as defined in the Playbook.
  • Provide technical support for worship teams, speakers, and special events.
  • Keep production areas organized, ensuring equipment safety and inventory management.
  • Support broadcast feed for messages and ensure quality of service experience.

Other Duties:

  • Attend weekly 1:1, team and staff meetings as requested
  • Adhere to all church policies and procedures as well as ensure that volunteers comply with guidelines for ministry
  • Work assigned duties during “All Hands On Deck” events such as Christmas and Easter services
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Active Difference Maker at Pantano Christian Church
  • Proficiency in live sound engineering and equipment repair
  • Proficiency in ProPresenter setup and operation, PlanningCenter Services, and other common church production systems
  • Proven strong leadership/management skills and experiences.
  • Proven ability to recruit, develop, lead, and manage a variety of teams and groups.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Office-related computer skills, including experience with common office software/programs and online applications
  • Ability to effectively utilize online communication, email and calendar tools
  • Ability to work productively without direct supervision
  • Ability to work well and collaborate with team members, volunteers, and other staff
  • Experience with Mac and macOS a plus
  • Experience with Google Drive a plus
