QUALIFICATIONS
These specifications are general guidelines based on the minimum experience normally considered essential to the satisfactory performance of this position. - Bachelor's degree or six years of relevant experience in banking or non-banking audit in lieu of a degree
- Demonstrated knowledge of internal controls, banking and information technology risks and/or audit techniques
- Demonstrated knowledge of the regulatory banking environment
- Experience with audit support tools including electronic work papers
- Exposure to the banking and/or insurance industries
- Project management skills
- Demonstrated proficiency of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to build effective cross-functional relationships with employees of various levels throughout the organization
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated critical thinking and time management skills
- Ability to effectively work with both internal and external business partners
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is desired

ORGANIZATION
- This position reports to the Senior Auditor
- This position does not oversee other positions
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
All employees are required to attend scheduled mandatory trainings and complete online regulatory compliance training courses applicable to their specific job function. In all situations, employees must ensure that their actions fully comply with all federal banking laws and regulations, including internal bank policies and procedures. Failure to adhere to these requirements will be grounds for disciplinary action, including probation and possible termination.
