Summary
This position is responsible for providing leadership for the maintenance group with a focus on continuous improvement of maintenance safety, productivity, mean time between failures, and uptime. Position will develop robust processes and organizational skill to sustain high-performance standards and continuous improvement while maintaining a high level of safety, facility production and facility equipment according to predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Facilitate the interaction of maintenance work in the plant process areas.

Recommends budgets to management, including staff use, technology, facility, and equipment requirements or improvements.

Performing and directing Root Cause Analysis for equipment/systems

Troubleshoot problem equipment.

Approve MOCs (Management of Change)

Design PM programs and other predictive measures to improve up-time and productivity.

Identify and resolve repeat failure issues.

Specify equipment for replacement or improvement.

Accountable for turnaround coordination

Make decisions about how/whether to repair equipment.

Manage unit spare parts Stores inventory (completeness and efficiency)

Schedule and oversee internal and external contractors.

Improve maintenance KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) including maintenance safety, downtime, MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), and productivity.

Estimate and prepare AR's for capital projects performed by maintenance.

Develop and maintain maintenance procedures.
