Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be 18 years of age or older.
Knowledge and Ability:
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
- Aptitude for on-the-job training.
- Requires a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work well with Park District personnel.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and special events.
- Ability to deal effectively and courteously with the public.
- This position will circulate to various District locations, including, but not limited to; Grand View Drive Park, Kellogg Golf Course, Madison Golf Course, Glen Oak Park, Bradley Park, Donovan Park, Forest Park Nature Center, and Landscape Development Department.
- Ability to be professional, respectful, accountable, innovative, to follow safety procedures, and be equitable to both internal and external customers.
