Triunity Inc. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Transit Rail Systems Project Manager to join our team in the Vancouver, WA, Portland, OR, or Seattle, WA area. The Rail Systems Project Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing various aspects of rail system projects, including communications, train control, OCS (Overhead Catenary System), traction power, and systemwide electrical design. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of rail system projects, from inception to completion, while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Lead and manage rail system projects from initiation to completion, including planning, design, construction, and commissioning phases.
- Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities, to ensure project goals are met.
- Scope Management: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Design Oversight: Manage the systems design process, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure the highest standards of workmanship in all aspects of the project.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays and cost overruns.
- Budget and Cost Control: Monitor project budgets, control expenses, and track project costs to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Schedule Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and adjust as necessary to meet project milestones.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and standards to maintain a safe working environment for all project personnel.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all project activities adhere to relevant regulations and codes.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Reporting: Provide regular project status reports to senior management and clients.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field

Professional engineers license is a plus

Proven experience (5+ years) in project management within the rail transit industry.

Strong understanding of rail systems, including communications, train control, OCS, traction power, and electrical design.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.

Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

The salary range for this position is between $150k and $200K per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
