Description

Job Purpose:  To supervise and execute activities of the bar, restaurant and banquet spaces to provide fast and courteous service to patrons. 


Job Responsibilities:  

  • Supervises bartenders and servers.
  • Works Bar shifts as needed.  Assists with set up of banquet events.
  • Addresses and corrects complaints of patrons. 
  • Assigns work tasks and coordinates activities of the F & B outlet room associates to ensure prompt and courteous service to patrons. 
  • Inspects F &B outlet serving stations for neatness and cleanliness, and requisitions table linens and other dining room supplies for tables and serving stations. 
  • May interview, hire, discharge, train, schedule work hours and keep time records of associates. 
  • May assist in planning menus, prepare beverages and expedite food orders. 
  • May collect payment from customers and total receipts at end of shift to verify sales and clear cash register. 
  • Rewards associates who use their empowerment to meet or exceed guest expectations. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Perform a variety of activities, changing activities often and sometimes without notice. 


Physical Requirements: 

  • Ability to speak and hear in English.
  • Close and distance vision.
  • Frequently lifts/carries up to 25 lbs.
  • Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills. 

 

Qualifications

Education: HS Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 1 year Bartending experience required.  
Licenses/Certifications:  TIPS Certification and Food Safety Certification.
