Description

The position of Dishwasher at Blue Martini requires the ability to perform daily functions as prescribed by the Kitchen Manager, General Managers, and Assistant Managers. Must be able to efficiently adhere to all policies, procedures and standards. The Dishwasher will clean the dishes, the dish area, the bathrooms, the floors, the coolers, and any other area as assigned by the Managers.

  • Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing station. Clean and store silverware and dishes to specification.

  • Assist barbacks, cooks, and food runners when necessary.

  • Clean and replace equipment and plates during service.

  • Follow all sanitation logs and procedures regarding the station and document in logs

  • Uphold all safety, health, and cleanliness standards. Eliminate safety hazards.

  • Clean all equipment used postproduction to sanitation standards.

  • Report all equipment malfunctions to management.

  • Alert management in writing of any maintenance/repairs.

  • Follow all guidelines as stated by us and the Kitchen Manager.

  • Perform proper rotations of cleaning chemicals and soaps.

  • Follow closing guidelines, perform checklists, have managerial clearance and assist others if needed during closing.

  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of one-year experience in a high volume kitchen.

  • At least 6 months comparable kitchen performance.

  • Willing to train and comply with managerial evaluation.

  • Must be able to lift 60 lbs., reach, bend and stoop at will.

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
