Position Details:
Hotel Clermont is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead our group efforts. This role is ideal for a polished sales professional with a proven track record in hotel sales, who thrives on building strong client relationships, generating revenue, and creating thoughtful, strategic partnerships in a fast paced environment.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytically minded, and self-motivated, with excellent communication skills and a passion for exceeding goals. You’ll be responsible for driving group sales, managing accounts, prospecting, conducting site visits, and crafting compelling proposals that highlight the unique edge of Hotel Clermont as Atlanta’s most spirited boutique destination.
Responsibilities:
· Proactively identify, solicit, and secure new accounts with a focus in groups to meet or exceed banquet and room revenue goals.
· Build and manage a portfolio of clients with a focus on long-term relationship development and account retention.
· Engage clients and work with them from the lead to consumption.
· Develop effective sales plans and actions.
· Sells guest rooms and event space to groups.
· Conduct thoughtful site inspections.
· Create customized proposals, agreements and banquet event orders.
· Analyze market trends and competitive data to develop targeted sales strategies.
· Leverage creative and strategic selling skills to close high-value business opportunities.
· Maintain accurate documentation, forecasts, and reports in sales and CRM systems.
· Must be personable and team-oriented, working collaboratively with department heads and cross-functional teams, including operations, revenue management, and food & beverage to ensure seamless execution and exceptional guest experiences.
· Represent Hotel Clermont at networking events, trade shows, and industry functions.
· Participate in all sales and property meetings.
· Provide regular reporting-weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually, including contributions to the annual strategic sales plan.
· Flexibility to attend events, meetings, and client engagements during evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
